2025 Genesis G80 Price and Specs: Facelift Brings Updated Features and Simplified Line-up

2025 Genesis G80 Price and Specs: Facelift Brings Updated Features and Simplified Line-up

Genesis has introduced the 2025 G80, featuring a facelift that updates both the exterior and interior of the luxury sedan. The latest model simplifies its line-up to two variants: the 2.5T rear-wheel drive and the 3.5T all-wheel drive, both now equipped with the Luxury Package as standard.

The exterior changes are modest, with design adjustments including a refreshed G-Matrix grille, updated bumpers, and Micro Lens Array LED headlights with a dynamic welcome light function. New 19- and 20-inch wheel designs are also part of the facelift, aimed at refining the vehicle’s overall appearance.

Inside, the 2025 G80 introduces a 27-inch OLED integrated display that combines multimedia, navigation, and instrument cluster information.

Additional updates include a fingerprint recognition module, a heated front console armrest with a UV-C sanitising compartment, and a three-zone climate control system.

The model also features Active Road Noise Cancelling (A-RNC) technology and an 18-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system.

The 2025 G80 is equipped with the latest Genesis Connected Services (GCS) and Over the Air (OTA) software update capabilities.

Safety technology has been enhanced with features such as Highway Driving Assist 2, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist 2, and Lane Following Assist 2 with Hands on Detection.

Additional safety measures include Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist, Rear Occupant Alert, and Remote Smart Parking Assist 2.

The G80 Sport variant continues to be part of the line-up, offering exclusive features such as 20-inch alloy wheels, a sport-specific grille and bumper design, and a unique interior with a D-Cut steering wheel and Nappa leather upholstery.

New exterior colour options for the 2025 G80 include Vatna Grey, Kawah Blue, and Brooklyn Brown, with the G80 Sport variant available in an exclusive Cavendish Red.

Compared to the 2023 model, pricing for the 2025 G80 has seen an increase.

The 2.5T RWD variant now starts at $104,000, up from $87,200, while the 3.5T AWD is priced at $121,000, compared to the previous $116,200.

The Electrified G80 variant, previously priced at $147,000, will come later. It's important to note that these prices do not include on-road costs.

The facelifted 2025 G80 maintains its position in the luxury sedan market with updated features, while offering a more streamlined choice for buyers.
