The 2025 Genesis Electrified G80 has launched in Australia, priced from $155,000 before on-road costs.

Now only offered in a single Signature AWD grade, the model features a longer wheelbase and a larger 94.5kWh battery, delivering a WLTP driving range of up to 570km.

Dual electric motors produce a combined 272kW and 700Nm, enabling a 0–100km/h time of 5.1 seconds.

Charging from 10 to 80 percent can be completed in as little as 25 minutes using a 350kW ultra-rapid DC charger.

The updated model also features a longer wheelbase of 3,140mm (up 130mm), extending total length to 5,135mm and providing an additional 83mm of rear legroom.

Inside, the cabin includes a 27-inch OLED display combining the instrument cluster and infotainment into one wide panel. Other features include a Bang & Olufsen 17-speaker audio system, "UV-C Sanitising Console", and "Ergo Motion" front and rear seats with massage functionality.

The 2025 model introduces rear-wheel steering, "Preview Electronic Control" suspension, and "Active Road Noise Cancelling" to enhance ride quality and cabin quietness, along with a reinforced body structure and sound insulation.

Safety systems include Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist 2, Highway Driving Assist 2, Lane Following Assist 2, and Remote Smart Parking Assist 2.

Rear occupants benefit from powered sunshades, wireless charging, and 16-way adjustable "Ergo Motion" seats. The "Rear Door Easy Close System" allows rear doors to be automatically opened or closed at the press of a button.

Connectivity is supported by Genesis Connected Services, which includes features such as remote vehicle control, diagnostics, and over-the-air software updates. A 5-year complimentary subscription is included.

Ownership benefits comprise a 5-year/unlimited kilometre warranty, 5 years of complimentary servicing, and 10 years of roadside assistance if serviced within the Genesis network.

Buyers also receive a 5-year Chargefox subscription and access to the "Genesis To You" concierge vehicle service.
