2025 Chery TIGGO 4 Pro: Australia's Cheapest NEW SUV!

Chery has announced the addition of the TIGGO 4 Pro to its Australian lineup, scheduled for release in October 2024. This compact SUV will have a starting driveaway price of $23,990 for the Urban model, positioning it as a competitively priced turbo-powered option in the market.

The only SUV that offers a lower driveaway price is the Suzuki Ignis in GL base-spec, which is technically a micro car and comes in at $22,490 Driveaway.

The TIGGO 4 Pro will be available in two grades: Urban, priced at $23,990 driveaway, and Ultimate, at $26,990 driveaway. Both models are powered by a 1.5L turbo-petrol engine that delivers 108kW of power and 210Nm of torque, paired with a CVT transmission and front-wheel drive. Fuel consumption is rated at 7.3L/100km combined, with CO2 emissions of 166g/km.

In terms of dimensions, the TIGGO 4 Pro measures 4,351mm in length, 1,831mm in width, and 1,662mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,610mm. The luggage capacity ranges from 380L with the seats up to 1,225L with the rear seats folded down.

Standard features across both grades include a 10.25-inch dual-screen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, 7 airbags, and heated front seats. The Ultimate grade adds additional premium touches such as artificial leather upholstery, a 360° around-view monitor, and a power sunroof. Both models come equipped with advanced safety features like Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Blind Spot Detection (BSD), and Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC).
